Orangeville Nissan is holding a fun contest for all the creative kids out in the community.
The car dealership, located at 633224 Highway 10, Mono, is running a Family Day Giveaway, where kids who submit a drawing of the Nissan Z or colour in a template of the car can win a night out to dinner and a movie for four.
The colouring page can be found online at tadvantagegroupprod-com.cdn-convertus.com/uploads/sites/48/2023/01/Nissan-Z-Colouring-Page.pdf or picked up at the dealership.
Submissions are accepted in-person at Orangeville Nissan or online by taking a photo and emailing it to brie@orangevillenissan.com. Submissions are also being accepted through Orangeville Nissan’s Instagram page @orangevillenissan or @bries_sweet_deals. Each submission counts as an entry towards the Family Day Giveaway, and submissions shared online that tag Nissan Orangeville count as an extra entry.
The idea for the contest was inspired by sales and leasing consultant at Orangeville Nissan, Brie Boddaert’s daughter, who created a unique drawing of the new 2023 Nissan Z Sports Car. The car has just arrived at the dealership, and the manager there thought the Family Day Giveaway would be a great way to celebrate its arrival while giving back to the community.
“With Family Day coming up, we’re really focused on being part of our community,” said Boddaert. “What we decided to do for something fun is to have a colouring contest for the kids because they don’t usually get to participate in these kinds of things.”
In addition to offering a prize for the colouring contest, Orangeville Nissan will be donating to a local school who is struggling to fund certain programs.
The drawings and colourings of the Nissan Z for the contest are going to be displayed throughout the local dealership.
“It’s a chance for the kids to show the whole community their artistic talents,” Boddaert enthused.
She said she’d encourage parents to have their kids participate.
“This is one of those fun, family orientated, engaging activities that gets kids creative juices going,” said Boddaert.
The contest ends on Feb. 17.
