If you are planning to take part in any of the programs run by the Orangeville Public Library at the Island Lake Conservation Area this summer, you will get a break on admission to the park.
In last week’s story by the Citizen on a program by local artist Miles Cohen, it was stated that the event is free. However, visitors were still required to pay the admission fee when entering the Conservation Area.
That policy has been changed. Credit Valley Conservation will not be charging park admission to those arriving to attend Library Sponsored Programs.
When you arrive at the gate, tell the attendant you will be participating in an Orangeville Public Library summer program event, and you will be allowed free access to attend the program in the park.
