With two games left on the regular season schedule, the Westside Secondary School Thunder senior boys volleyball team is in first place in the District 4 standings going undefeated for the season. Westside has come out on top in all eight matches they have played.
The Thunder have been a dominant force in the District this season. Not only have they won all their matches in the six team League, they have shut-out their opponents in seven of those games, losing only one set all season.
The Thunder will be in Shelburne on October 24, to take on the Royals at Centre Dufferin District High School. Their final regular season game will be against Emmanuel Christian High School in Guelph on October 31.
The Thunder is assured a spot in the playoffs which will have a semi-final round before the final two teams go the championship game.
The semi-final round is scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, with the District final slated for Thursday, November 8.
The winner of District 4, will go on to compete at the regional level at CWOSSA.
