If you’ve been involved in planning a wedding, you know that once you start putting all your ideas together there’s a lot more to think about than you first realized.
The Total Elegance Wedding Show will provide anyone who is planning an upcoming wedding the opportunity to meet with service providers who specialize in making a special day run smoothly.
The event next Sunday will be hosted by professional event planner Teena Avery of Elegant Professional Events.
Considering the show will take place near Orangeville, the service providers will be regionally based so they are available to people in the area.
“I want to make this a Dufferin-focused show, and the surrounding area,” Ms. Avery explained. “Basically it will be a one-stop shop for anyone planning on being married in the area. They can find everything they need for their dream day. It will have everything from clothing, flowers, DJ’s, learning how to dance, caterers, and event planners. We’ve got a bed and breakfast, and post wedding functions.”
All of the vendors on site will have their own niche specialties that relate to the wedding industry.
“We have hair and makeup people, photographers, and photos booths,” Ms. Avery said. “The majority of our visitors will be brides and their families. The idea is to have people pre-register and there are people are coming from all over. We planned big right from the beginning with room to expand the event. We’ll have 37 vendors there and room to expand for next year. We pretty much have everything. I made a point to go out and source people for each category so there would be at least two vendors for every category.”
There will be special activities going on all day including prizes and the first 150 couples will receive a special swag-bag.
The Total Elegance Wedding Show will take place at the Orangeville Agricultural Society Event Centre 5 Sideroad of Mono, this Sunday, February 17.
You can pre-register for the event by going on the website at www.orangevilleweddingshow.ca, which will give free admission. Or you can just drop by on event day.
Admission is $5.
