Time to recognize front line workers

It might be time to consider a statutory holiday in appreciation of all those people who put their lives on the line for us day in, day out.
Doctors, nurses, the armed forces, policemen, gas station attendants, grocery store employees etc… must be acknowledged for their courage, especially at this time.
The stress that they have had to endure for the last 2 years must also be recognized. Young prospective candidates are looking at how society values a career.
If front-line worker contributions are overlooked, we may not have these heroes to thank in the future.
