Several new businesses open in Orangevile

Several new businesses have opened up in Orangeville over the last four months and Orangeville Council took a moment to recognize them at a meeting earlier in March.

The businesses mentioned in Town staff’s report opened from October 1, 2020 to January 31, 2021.

Those businesses include:

  • Figs Grocer (163 First Street)
  • Save Max Supreme Korbin & Lacey Purchase Real Estate (51 Townline)
  • The Village Refillery (28 Mill Street, Unit 109)
  • DC Custom Homes Inc. (23 Commerce Road)
  • Pivot Hair Studio (71 Broadway, Unit 1)
  • Art of 8 Martial Arts (210 Broadway, Unit 110)
  • Orangeville Formal Wear – Tailors (7 First Street) 
  • Branching Out Support Services (5 First Street)
  • Glow Lounge by LakeFit (228 Broadway)
  • WingsUp! (163 First Street); and
  • Greystones (63 Broadway)

Prior to the approval of the report to council regarding the new businesses, Coun. Joe Andrews took a moment to congratulate and thank them for choosing Orangeville.

“I just wanted to take a second to thank the businesses for committing to our community, especially in these times,” he said. “You take a look at that the last quarter, in fact, straddling into this new year and it is wonderful that they have done so, under trying times.”
