Sanoh Canada Ltd. has completed a 15,700-square-foot expansion at its Orangeville facility, increasing its total footprint to 109,000 square feet. The additional space will accommodate additional machinery to expand production and support the company’s future growth.
Headquartered in Findlay, Ohio, Sanoh was established in Orangeville in 1997 and has become a longstanding part of the community’s manufacturing sector. The company employs 110 full-time staff, many of them local to Dufferin County. The Orangeville facility produces automotive brake tubing, fuel tubing and chassis tubing assemblies. These components support essential vehicle systems and are fundamental to the safe operation of vehicles.
Backed by extensive industry experience and engineering expertise, Sanoh provides a comprehensive range of solutions for the automotive sector. The company combines its in-house capabilities with the global resources of Sanoh Industrial to support vehicle manufacturing programs and specific customer requirements, while prioritizing quality throughout each stage of its operations. The Orangeville facility supplies Tier 1 customers including Honda and Toyota. It also supplies Tier 2 customers, including Kautex and FTS, which further process components for Toyota vehicle programs in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
Building for the future
The expanded space will accommodate new equipment to produce components for an upcoming Honda CR-V hybrid model at Honda of Canada Manufacturing in Alliston.
Employees will receive training on the new equipment, which aligns with Sanoh’s established manufacturing processes and builds on the expertise of its existing team. Production is expected to begin in early 2027 and is anticipated to create 10 additional positions at the Orangeville facility.
“This expansion reinforces Sanoh’s commitment to our customers and highlights our ability to strengthen Ontario’s automotive supply chain through the expertise, dedication and experience of our local team,” said Randolph B. Gore, plant manager at Sanoh Canada Ltd.
Local contributions
As one of Orangeville’s largest manufacturing facilities, Sanoh Canada continues to make important contributions to the local economy through specialized automotive production and local employment. The company is committed to fostering a positive workplace for its employees and maintaining high standards across its operations.
“For almost 30 years, Sanoh has been a valuable part of Orangeville’s manufacturing sector. This expansion reflects confidence in our local workforce and business environment and we’re grateful for the ongoing investment in our community,” said Katrina Lemire, the Town of Orangeville’s manager of economic development and culture.
Sanoh Canada is currently hiring production operators and material handlers and provides on-the-job training for successful candidates.
