Orangeville’s “Colonel Fitzgerald” Branch 233 of the Royal Canadian Legion will host its Honours and Remembrance Banquet on Saturday, Nov. 4th.
Falling midway through the annual Poppy Campaign, the event provides the opportunity for Legion members, veterans and the community to gather socially in celebration of Veterans Week.
Guest speaker for the event will be Dufferin County Paramedic Service Chief Tom Reid. Homestyle Catering will provide dinner and several Legion honours and awards will be presented. The branch will host a meet-and-greet at 5:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets are $30 each and available at the branch office, 7 John Street, Orangeville.
Complimentary meals will be provided for registered veterans, spouses/widows and caregivers attending. Registration may be completed at the branch office.
