Orangeville Police are currently investigating a break-in early last Wednesday morning at Korsten Jewellers.
On Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at approximately 5:40 a.m., police received a call to attend the store, located at 163 Broadway, regarding an intrusion alarm at the business.
Police found that the rear entrance to the business, from Dairy Lane, had been compromised. Officers entered the building and discovered that multiple store display cases had been damaged.
The store owner confirmed that several pieces of jewelry had been taken. It is believed that the suspect(s) left the building through the same rear door.
Police are continuing their investigation and would like to hear from anyone who might have observed any suspicious activity in the area of the store early Wednesday morning or any other information regarding the incident.
