If you have a young growing hockey player, the Orangeville Minor Hockey Association’s consignment sale is the opportunity to find hockey equipment for a reasonable cost.

Over the past four years many families have been able to fit their kids in hockey gear from head to toe for less than $100.

There is equipment available for kids as young a four years-old up to adult for players who are just getting back into the game.

Families can sell their used equipment on consignment with the seller receiving 70 per cent and Orangeville Minor Hockey receiving 30 percent of any equipment sold during the three day event.

Families can also donate equipment to Orangeville Minor Hockey with all money raised going back into the hockey association.

Equipment that is donated and doesn’t sell is given to First Nations communities in the north through the Rotary Clubs of Palgrave and Etobicoke.

Needed equipment includes, helmets, masks, neck guards – both wrap and external, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, catching gloves, pants, goalie pants, shin pads, skates, sticks, and goalie sticks.

Quality undergarments an protective wear may be accepted if clean and in excellent condition.
