Orangeville Library seeking the public’s input on programs, services

July 29, 2021   ·   0 Comments

The Orangeville Public Library Board is launching its first community survey to engage with local residents, both library users and non-users, about programs, services, and facilities. The survey provides the opportunity for community members to add their voice to help shape library services.

Participants are encouraged to make specific suggestions about their ideas and dreams for the future.

“As the library begins to welcome the public safely back, we would like to take this opportunity to listen to our community regarding the programs and services that they value now and would like to see the library offer in the future,” said Orangeville Public Library Board Chair Bill Rae. “The Library Board wants to hear from everyone; whether they are a regular visitor or have not used the library.”

The online survey is available from July 28 to August 28 on the library’s website at www.orangevillelibrary.ca/survey and social media. It should take 15-20 minutes to complete and all responses are confidential.

To thank participants for completing the survey, there is a chance to win an iPad Pro at the end of the survey. Please make sure to complete the survey before the deadline to be eligible for the draw. The survey is open from July 28 to August 28.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact the library via phone at 519-941-0610 ext. 5230 or email infolibrary@orangeville.ca
