“Enjoy the car and enjoy the cause,” is the slogan Orangeville Hyundai is using to promote a test drive event lasting all month at their Highway 9, and 2 Line EHS, Mono location.
Staff at the dealership are pretty excited about the all-new 2020 Hyundai Palisade full size SUV that is arriving at showrooms now.
It is Hyundai’s new edition to their SUV line and fills a void in the line-up when it comes to a full-size vehicle that seats up to eight passengers.
Orangeville Hyundai General Manager, Adam Allard, said they wanted to do something special to celebrate the newest vehicle to the dealership.
“Orangeville Hyundai is donating $25 to the local Cancer Society for every test drive,” he explained. “It’s an opportunity for us to promote the vehicle and support a local cause at the same time. We’ve called it the Test Drive for Cure. We thought we’d introduce the new SUV – it’s Hyundai’s flagship unit – but at the same time we can give back to the community and make a fun event out of it.
The Palisade is brand new. It came to the market approximately 90 days ago. It’s Hyundai’s largest SUV ever for the North America market. It comes in several trim levels from basic, right up to the ultimate trim package.
“We’ve cleaned out the showroom and made it all Palisades ready for a test drive. Our people are all well educated on the product. They’ve been to Palisade training courses so they can explain the features and benefits of our product. The Palisade is a real disrupter in its category and it has certainly built a lot of momentum in Canada. For the modern day growing family people are looking for something with more room and a little more towing capacity,” Mr. Allard said.
Coincidentally, the same day the Test Drive for Cure event started, local customer Eric Allard arrived with his wife Andrea to pick up a brand new Palisade. Mr. Allard bought if for her as an anniversary present.
Mr. Allard joked that it was payback as his wife had bought him a Harley-Davidson motorcycle earlier in the year. The Palisade, he said, will be a welcome change from the van style vehicles they had when their children were younger.
The Test Drive for Cure event will be on for the month at the Orangeville Hyundai dealership.
