It was a short season this year, however the North Dufferin Baseball League managed to get in a regular season for both the Senior and Junior divisions.

The Juniors started off with six teams in the 2021 line-up.

After a ten game schedule the league produced four top teams who will advance to the championship round.

The Caledon Nationals, Georgina Bulldogs, Creemore Padres, and Midland Twins will play a tournament style playoff series beginning on August 20, with the final championship game on Sunday, August 22.

The Mansfield Cubs and Orangeville Bengals failed to secure a place in the playoffs this year.

In the Senior division, the last few games of the schedule will be played this weekend.

Of the 11 teams in the division, eight will advance to the playoffs.

There are four top runners who have already secured a playoff berth.

New Lowell, Bolton Brewers, Barrie Knights, and the Ivy Leafs, have a playoff spot.

At the other end, the Bolton Dodgers, and Lisle Astros are already out of contention.

The final few games will be a battle between a few teams to get a couple of wins and possibly move up in the standings with four team only two points apart.

The Senior division playoffs will get underway after the Labour Day long weekend.
