Muskies opening night this weekend

The Shelburne Muskies will take to the ice at the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex

this coming Saturday (Oct. 1) night to start their 2016 / 17 season.

The team has been practicing for over a month and is looking good with mixed roster of veterans and new players.

Head coach Dave Ritchie has returned and will be the top man on the bench.

Team captain Chris Greer and last season’s leading scorer Santino DeFlorio are

also returning. Also returning are goalies Eddie Davie and Ryan Zeng.

Returning to the team after a year off is defenceman Trevo Vanalstine who will

give the Muskies some added strength in the back end.

Game time for Saturday’s home opener is 8:00 p.m.
