Thank you for printing Ryan Alford’s column “Use of Emergencies Act was baseless.” It raised many objections to the use of the Act.
Unfortunately, the judge chosen as chair of the follow-up Enquiry is a Liberal donor, and the NDP members are committed to support the Liberal members.
The only way a useful report can be expected from that enquiry will be to hold other enquiries accountable by, or supported by, unbiased media.
