Don’s Heating and Cooling opens new showroom on Broadway

Location, it is said, is everything. 

After 29 years in Orangeville, well known local business, Don’s Heating and Cooling, has relocated its showroom to a more visible location. 

Formerly on Centennial Road, the showroom was moved to Broadway in the west end of town. 

The new store was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, September 21.

“We have relocated our showroom only,” explained marketing manager Margaret Vida-Morrison. “It’s all about location. Our offices are still located on Centennial road. There’s a big sign there that will direct customers to our new showroom. This is the grand opening of our new showroom and we’re also celebrating the 29th anniversary of years of business in Orangeville. The new showroom is the same as the old showroom with heating, air conditioning, barbecues, fireplaces, and central vacuums.”

Business owner Don Roper is a familiar face to the Orangeville community.

“This is the grand opening of the new showroom,” he said. “It’s a better location with more exposure. We’re having a big celebration today. We’re doing a donation to the Family Transition Place. We’ve got hamburgers and hotdogs. We’ve had our place on Centennial Road for the past ten years. We still have that place, but only for offices. Customers can now come here to shop.” 

The new showroom takes up a store front in a mall with big bright windows and is highly visible to anyone driving down Broadway.

There is a large assortment of barbecues, indoor fire places and even outdoor fire pits, along with accessories or those items. 

The location also has a variety of central vacuums systems on display.

The new showroom is located at 308 Broadway in Orangeville.
