With the return of the school year comes fall recreation programs and sports.
Orangeville Recreation is once again offering a ‘Central Registration Day’, which brings together several local recreation organizations for residents to attend, ask questions, and register for programs of interest.
The Central Registration Day is taking place at the Alder Street Recreation Centre on Wednesday, Sept. 6 from 6 to 9 p.m.
“Registering for extra-curriculars can be a confusing and overwhelming process, especially as parents and students adjust to the school routine again,” said Sharon Doherty-Gaudin, manager of recreation and events with the Town of Orangeville. “We’re very excited to provide our community with the opportunity to meet with club organizers and ask questions on the spot, helping make the process easier.”
Clubs participating in the event include:
• Girl Guides of Ontario
• 4th Orangeville Scouts Canada
• Warrior Martial Arts
• Celtic Academy Canada
• Orangeville Library
• Champion Cheer
• Athlete Institute
More organizations may be added to this list prior to the event date.
