Break and enter under investigation in Orangeville

Members from the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a break and enter to an address on McMaster Road in Orangeville. 

On Monday (Feb. 6) at approximately 8:40 p.m., Dufferin OPP responded to the report of a break and enter at a residential address in Orangeville. The break and enter occurred sometime between 7:40 p.m. and 8:40 p.m.

The complainant advised officers that while the family was out an unknown suspect(s) pried open the rear sliding door gaining access to the house. While inside the suspect(s) ransacked the home and stole cash and jewelry.
