The Baycats took an early lead scoring two runs in the top of the first inning.

Orangeville responded when they got up to bat with a devastating inning that brought in nine Bengals runs.

Braydon St. Denis started the scoring when he stole third base then made it across home plate when the throw went wild.

With the bases loaded, Logan Sheppard hit to centre field to bring in a run.

The Bengals got two more runs when a player was walked, and another hit by the pitch to make it to first and advance the runners.

With another walk to advance the runners, the Bengals took a 5-2 lead in the early inning.

In his second at-bat, Critchley singled and brought it two runs when the Baycats had an error that allowed a second runner to cross home plate.

The Bengals got two more runs when Jack Sinclair hit deep to right field and the base runners hit the afterburners to make it across home plate to end the inning with a 9-2 Orangeville lead.

The game ended with a 12-6 win for the Orangeville squad to give them their third win of the season and advance their record to 3-1. That moves them into third place in the standings after the weekend.
