With the seasonal theme, The Splendor of Spring, two area choirs will be presenting concerts in Orangeville and Shelburne this weekend.
Highlighting the program wil be a performance of Franz Schubert’s Mass in G Major with soloists Jennifer Tatlor, Sunyatta Guild, Leon Frisch, Rudy Hartmann, Sean Derraugh, Kim Stevenson, Amelia DePero and Alessandra Garzon.
The chorus will be members of the Orangeville-based Dufferin Concert Singers and Alliston’s New Tecumseth Singers, directed by John Wervers with accompanists Louise Gallaugher, Keiko Yoden-Kuepfer, Tanya Fenton and Jean Devries.
The performances will be this Saturday, April 23, at Westminster United Church, Orangeville, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, April 24, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Shelburne, at 3:30 p.m.
