Thanks to the public, Orangeville Police have been able to identify and charge an individual following a break-and-enter that occurred at a local business last week. The incident occurred at the Scotia Bank on Centennial Road around 5:30 p.m. on January 4th, when a male punched a hole in the front door of the bank. The building’s security camera’s were able to catch a clear shot of the individual, which police used to help identify him.

Earlier this morning, OPS posted the image to their Facebook page, asking any residents that recognized the individual to call police or crime stoppers to let them know. The post was shared on various community Facebook groups and by individuals. Just over an hour ago, OPS shared another post, informing residents that thanks to those shares, the individual was identified.
