He has had a long career in sales beginning in the auto industry when he was just 19 years old.

“I do a lot of open houses,” Mr. Lanigan said. “I like the personal connection with people and I find they really work. They are very successful and I’ve sold a lot through open houses. I do videos of every listing I have. I spend a lot of money on marketing. Everyone gets the same attention from me. There is no difference in my marketing plan based on the price of the home I am selling – everyone gets the same treatment and I pride myself on that. Everything I do, I do with professional people from photography to staging a home.
As a lifelong Orangeville resident, Mr. Lanigan is familiar with every neighborhood in Orangeville and knows current property values. In addition, he works with buyers and sellers in Caledon, Mono, and surrounding rural areas.
He is proud to say that as a real estate broker he works as an individual and devotes his personal attention to clients.
“I’m not a team member, I’m a one-man show,” he explained of his strategy when selling and his personal approach with clients. “I like to be involved in all the decision making and I take it seriously. When you’re working with a buyer it’s your job to protect the buyer. A client is going to be emotional – most people are when they are buying a home. Our job is to be professional and take the emotion out of it.”
