Wednesday nights at the Orangeville Canadian Tire parking lot will again be the time to see some classic, vintage, and custom cars this summer.

Everything from vintage rides and big fenders from the 30’s to 60’s muscle cars and some one-of-a-kind custom automobiles will be filling the parking lot during the weekly Cruisin’ on First Classic and Custom Car Show.

While many local owners bring their classics to the show, there are others that travel a considerable distance from out of town just to bring their cars and be part of the fun.

“We’ll be doing the usual format with special nights,” explained organizer, David Murphy. “We’ll have featured types of automobiles on some nights. We will be having the Hagerty Kid’s judging again. Anybody with a classic, custom, or even a modern muscle car is welcome.”

Many car owners enjoy the weekly show so much they arrive every week, set up a lawn chair and enjoy talking to visitors about their car and the other vehicles in the show.

While every show is open to car owners, there will be special themed nights where people with specific types of vehicles are invited out to show off their rides. These special themed nights have been very popular.

Some popular theme nights include, Mopar Mania, Big Block Beauties, Cruisin’ Corvettes, Mustang Rodeo, Convertible night, Classic Ford, and the Classic Truck Round-up.

You can find the theme night schedule on the Car Show’ Facebook page.

The Cruisin’ on First Classic and Custom Car Show will get underway with opening night on Wednesday, May 18, at 6:00 p.m. The show runs until dusk through the summer and wraps up on September 28.
