Orangeville Police make arrest in drug investigation

A 22 year old man has been charged by Orangeville Police amidst an ongoing police investigation.

On Sunday evening, police stopped a vehicle at the Orangeville Mall at approximately 10:50 p.m., as a result of the investigation. The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene.

According to a press release sent out this morning by the Orangeville Police Service, the accused is a 22 year old Orangeville man. The man was charged by OPS with three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. A quantity of cocaine, marijuana, MDMA and cash were seized by police.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on February 22, 2016 in Orangeville to answer to the allegations.
