On behalf of the Orangeville Operation Christmas Child team I would like to thank the very generous people of our community. It’s hard to imagine how much a shoebox can change someone’s life. But when it’s filled with gifts for a child who may have never received a gift before, it becomes an act of kindness that spreads Christmas spirit around the world.

Through this year’s campaign we collected a total of 2170 gift-filled shoe boxes. Our best year ever. I would like to extend a big thank you to some local businesses for their support this year. Their participation helps us to promote and carry out this wonderful program.

The businesses include Remax realty (Jerry Gould and The Gould Team), Royal LePage (The Grime Team), 101.5 myFM Orangeville radio station, Dollar Tree and First St-udent Bus Lines. Thank you to all the individuals, community groups, schools and churches who participated in this year’s campaign. Working together on this project results in thousands of children being impacted with love, hope and joy.
