The Orangeville District Secondary School Bears girls hockey team are moving on the semi-final round of the Division 10 championship after an 8-1 win over Our Lady of Lourdes on Wednesday, February 5.
The Bears ended the regular season in first place with a 7-1-2 record and 16 points – just one point behind the first place Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute.
The season is now down to the four teams still standing.
The Bear will face off against St. James on Wednesday, February 11, at Tony Rose arena in Orangeville.
Results of that game were not available at press time.
In the other semi-final series, Centre Wellington District High School will be up against Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute.
The winners of those two series will face each other in the District 10 championship final.
