The second period saw a lot of frustration on the floor with both sides spending time in the box. Mimico took ten minutes on minors and a five minute roughing major. The Northmen took six minutes on minor penalties and two majors totally nine minutes.

The Northmen widened the gap during the second period outscoring Mimico 6-1 on goals from Davis Neal for two, Brandon Slade, Ian Mackay, and a pair from Lucas Ducharme.

The third period saw a lot of physical action with both teams again taking major penalties.
