Ice Crushers hire new coach

The Orangeville Ice Crushers of the Greater Metro Hockey League have announced that  Scott Sutton has been hired as the new head coach and assistant general manager for the 2016 / 17 season.

Sutton has former Minor Hockey, Jr. ‘B’ and Senior ‘A’ coaching experience for over ten years.

Sutton is also a former Orangeville Police Officer, serving as Security at the Orangeville Courthouse for 10 years, as well as Criminal investigations for 12 years.

The Orangeville Ice Crushers are a member of the Greater Metro Hockey League.

They finished the 2015 / 16 season with a 16-24-2 record and eighth place standing in the Central Division.

The League had a record 30 teams last season.
