The Orangeville Jr. A Flyers will be looking for their second win of the season when they host St. Michaels at the Alder Street arena on Saturday night. (Sept. 20)
It’s only game number four in the 2014 / 15 season, but the Flyers could use a win to balance their record after suffering their second loss of the season on September 11, when they travelled to Kingston and came up short losing 5-2 to the Voyageurs.
The lost the first outing of the season to Milton on September 6, then came out on top two nights later when they went to Hamilton and left with a 5-4 win – their first of the season.
With just two weeks in to the seasons it’s way to early to see who the strong teams are this year with the 22 teams of the OJHL spread out all over to start the season.
The Flyers have a whole new bench this season and ten new players on the roster. That means it’s going to take them a few weeks before they gel as a unit.
Saturday night’s game will get underway at Alder Street with a 7:00 p.m. puck drop.
