If you’re looking for municipal election results in Orangeville next Monday night, the Town’s website is the place to visit. For regular real-time updates, as the counting process is under way, visit www.orangeville.ca/results, shortly after 8 p.m. on Monday.
“As the memory cards from the tabulators are downloaded to a computer at Town Hall, the results will be displayed on the election page of the Town’s website,” said Clerk Susan Greatrix.
By visiting the municipal website, Orangeville residents can see voting results, as they come in, from the convenience of their homes. For those who like to be on the scene with residents and candidates, you can get the results and see the action at the Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre (Northview Room) or in Council Chambers at Town Hall.
To vote in Monday’s municipal election, electors must present identification with their name and address, or sign a declaration form confirming their eligibility.
