Orangeville Junior A Flyers head coach, Jamie Caruso, was the runner up as Coach of the Year as named by the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
James Richmond of the Aurora Tigers was given the top honour by the League.
This is the second year in a row the OJHL honoured Richmond with the title.
Caruso signed on with the Flyers prior to the 2014 / 15 is is largely credited with turning the team around.
He led the Club to their first OJHL post-season berth since 2012 finishing in second place in the West Division standings with a 25-25-4 record and 54 points.
The record marked a 43 point improvement over the 2013 / 14 season and a remarkable turn-around for the franchise and its fans.
