Brown tried out for the team in Niagara Falls, on December 5, and after two cuts he was selected at the teams starting quarterback.

The team will be traveling to Texas to go up against Team USA in February.

Brown is a member of the Orangeville Outlaws Football Club and also played QB with the Orangeville District High School Bears football team.

This past summer he participated in the Top Gun program in Ohio.

Team Ontario head coach, Glen Mills, congratulated the 40 players who made the elite squad saying, “Congratulations guys. I am very excited to work with all of you. Size this opportunity and come prepared to show the Americans we can play football.”
