Broadway Comes Alive this Saturday, July 5th!

July 2, 2014   ·   0 Comments

Founders’ Day is just days away!

This year the fun begins with the Farmers’ Market and Free Pancake Breakfast at 8 am and then kicks into high gear with a Sidewalk Sale, Art Walk, great food, and live entertainment, culminating in a big busker finale show and free concert featuring StereoKid and illScarlett.

Fantastic sales, inspiring art, and delicious food will be the order of the day but Founders’ Day in Orangeville wouldn’t be the same without street performers, and this year is no exception.

With all new buskers performing at various locations along Broadway, you won’t see the same show twice.

From insane fire shows to crazy jugglers, astounding magic acts to outrageous chalk art, and a big finale fire show, the non-stop action will keep everyone entertained.

Dancing in the street is optional but highly encouraged!

The MacMaster Buick GMC Main Stage featuring live music performed throughout the day and evening by a wide variety of professional bands, playing both covers and original music, will keep your toes tapping and spirits light!

Ending on a high note with a free evening concert, featuring StereoKid and headliner illScarlett, music lovers will be entertained until from 8 pm to 10 pm.

Go to DowntownOrangeville.ca for a complete performance schedule (performance schedule is subject to change without notice).

Founders’ Day is a rain or shine event.  See you there!
