BIG BALL DROP

The Rotary Club of Orangeville held its annual Big Ball Drop at the Lynbrook Family Golf Centre on Saturday, June 11. The even raises funds for the Headwaters Health Care Centre, as well as other Rotary Club projects. Tom Bailey of Lynbrook Golf, and Rotarian, Dave Proctor, load the golf balls into the big basket that will be dropped over a green. The ball that lands in the hole, or closest to it wins a first prize of $1000. The winner of the second closest ball wins $300, while the ball that travels farthest from the hole nets $200.
