Orangeville Hyundai has been honoured with the Signature Series award from corporate headquarters for the third year in a row.

The award is given to a dealership that operates at a high standard of customer service and uses several criteria to determine if a dealership has met those standards.

Representatives from Hyundai headquarters visited Orangeville Hyundai last Thursday, March 12, to congratulate staff and present the award.

“This is an award we must achieve each year to be Hyundai certified,” explained Orangeville Hyundai service manager, Tim Gagawchuk. “This means our customer satisfaction index (CSI) must be at a certain level. The CSI really a report card from the consumer. We have to be over a certain level. Pretty much everything including our structure, culture, and dealership processes must be a certain standard. We are audited for this by headquarters. It means that we are providing the best service possible for a customer, from how they are greeted and dealt with from one office to another. It’s all about a quality culture. It’s very prestigious to get this award – not every dealership makes it.”

Adam Allard, Orangeville Hyundai’s general manager, said customer feedback plays a big part in how they conduct business.

“When a consumer visits Tim in his department, the customer would be prompted to fill out a survey on how his service went. It rates, consistency, quality, and satisfaction. They do a complete audit included sale, service, and processes.”

The Hyundai vision includes total satisfaction from product to customer service, and includes providing a quality product, innovation by producing products customers want, and creating a company culture that focuses on teamwork and staff empowerment.

The staff at Orangeville Hyundai were very excited to once again receive recognition for all their hard work over the past year.
